Hurricane Michael Response

HSLDA Compassion is reaching out to homeschooling families who’ve lost homes and curriculum in the recent flooding and devastating winds caused by Hurricane Michael. Through our Disaster Relief fund, HSLDA is offering grants to affected families to help them recover.

If you’ve been impacted by Michael, you may apply for an HSLDA Disaster Relief grant to help with the cost of replacing destroyed curriculum and other emergency needs by emailing one of the following:

Georgia residents—click HERE

South Carolina residents—click HERE

North Carolina residents—click HERE

Residents in other states—click HERE

Please reference Hurricane Michael in your email so we can better serve you.

If you would like to help homeschooling families devastated by flooding, please consider making a generous gift to help replace their lost and damaged school materials and meet emergency needs.

At this time we have no mechanism to coordinate housing offers or tanglible donations like clothing or curriculum. We will update this page with information on other ways to help affected families as soon as they become available. However, if you would like to help with on-the-ground efforts in Florida, Georgia, or South Carolina over the coming year, please contact us about volunteer opportunites with HSLDA's Ambassador Program.

FOR UPDATES on how you can get help or assist flood families, check back here regularly.

To those struggling to recover from Michael, please know we are praying for you. Don't hesistate to contact us.
