Help for families flooded by Florence

Has your family lost your homeschool curriculum, your library—or even your entire house—in the recent flooding caused by Hurricane Florence? Or do you know a homeschooling family that is struggling to recuperate after Florence? (Please send them this link!) Through our Disaster Relief fund, our team at HSLDA Compassion is offering grants to help affected families recover.

If you've been impacted by Florence, you may apply for an HSLDA Disaster Relief grant to help with the cost of destroyed curriculum and other emergency needs by emailing one of the following:

North Carolina homeschoolers can also connect with those offering tangible items such as clothing, curriculum, and housing needs through the NC Homeschool Disaster Relief Network Facebook page.

If you would like to help homeschooling families devastated by flooding, please consider making a donation to help replace their lost and damaged school materials and meet emergency needs.

To offer housing and donate tangible items, such as clothing, curriculum, or other necessities, please visit the NC Homeschool Disaster Relief Facebook page.

If you would like to help with on-the-ground efforts in North Carolina or South Carolina over the coming year, consider volunteering as an HSLDA Ambassador. Learn more HERE

If you are struggling to overcome loss in the wake of Florence, please do not hesitate to let us know how else we can serve you as directed above. We are praying for you.
