PHC Freshmen Scholarships
The Patrick Henry College Scholarship for HSLDA members rewards academic excellence and exemplary leadership through tuition scholarships to Patrick Henry College.
The Patrick Henry College (PHC) Scholarship Fund grants scholarships to freshmen students attending Patrick Henry College on-campus full-time who are part of an HSLDA member family, have a high school record of outstanding academic achievement and community service, and need financial assistance. If you fit these criteria, please see the full application at the link below. Last year, the Foundation gave a select number of freshman scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $2,000.
I M P A C T
Located in Purcellville, Virginia, PHC aspires to equip Christian young people with the character and skills essential for being influential leaders in our government and culture; furthermore, it was started to specifically appeal to homeschoolers. Unlike many other colleges, PHC does not accept federal student loans, creating a need for its students to find funding from other sources.
In 2001, HSLDA had the opportunity to grant scholarships to several PHC students who were in need of financial assistance. Witnessing the blessing these scholarships were and desiring to further support HSLDA member students attending PHC, the Home School Foundation created the PHC Scholarship Fund.
