Apply to the Emergency Response Fund

HSF Application Timeline

Your application and circumstances are important to us! We individually evaluate each family’s situation and needs. Thank you for your patience during the application process.

When we receive your application,we will notify you by email.

If any documents or information is missing from your application, we will contact you.

When your application is complete, we will notify you by email.

**The rest of the process takes 4-6 weeks from this point**

When your application is approved, we will notify you by email.

Your check will arrive 2-3 weeks after approval with instructions on what paperwork and/or receipts you must return to us in 45 days.

If your application is not completed in 6 months it will expire and we will notify you by email.

Do I Qualify?

To qualify for an Emergency Response Fund grant:

  1. You must be homeschooling for at least 6 months.
  2. You must be experiencing extreme circumstances due to a natural disaster or a other crisis.
  3. If you have received a HSF grant in the past, you must have sent in your signed statement and receipts (if required). If you are not sure, contact us.

All HSF grants are based on financial need and the availability of funds.

When Can I Apply?

Anytime. You may apply to this fund one time only.

If you have already received an Emergency Response grant and don’t know what other funds you may apply to, contact us.

How Do I Apply?

Contact us to be screened for eligibility. If you are eligible to apply, we will email you an application and instructions.
