Delighted By God's Provision
Life changed for the Sanchez family after their father experienced a serious injury on the job.  That was five years ago. So far, Mr. Sanchez has been through two surgeries and may still need a third. Since his salary was the family’s only source of income, his job loss devastated them financially.

“We are now on Social Security Disability, which is a fifth of the income he made before the accident,” shared Mrs. Sanchez.  The disability income only covers their mortgage and utilities leaving nothing for school supplies to homeschool their five children. In their commitment to homeschooling, they contacted the Home School Foundation (HSF) about the possibility of receiving financial aid to purchase curriculum and materials.

Because of generous donations to the Kids Curriculum Fund (formerly the Curriculum Relief Fund), HSF was pleased to provide a grant to the Sanchez family so they could purchase homeschool materials.

“To our delight and amazement, God has provided for our needs in the most creative ways. The most recent has been through the Home School Foundation.” Mrs. Sanchez said.

She added, “HSF is not only a source of financial provision, but has also encouraged our family through all of their correspondence with us. We are so grateful to those who contributed to the fund . . . we look forward to the day when we can be on the giving end!”

If you would like to help families like the Sanchez’ continue to homeschool through very challenging circumstances, please consider donating to the Kids Curriculum Fund.
