Do You Know a Homeschool Family Harmed by a Tornado?
The Home School Foundation, HSLDA’s charitable arm, is reaching out to homeschool families who have experienced loss of home, loved one, livelihood, or homeschool library due to the tornados in Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama and other parts of the Southeast at the end of April. We want families affected by these storms and the storms to come later this summer to know that we are here to help. Through our Emergency Response Fund, we assist homeschool families who have been impacted by a natural disaster.
Several of you have already contacted us about the Tittle family, a homeschooling family of eleven who lost their father and two teenage daughters—in addition to their home—to a tornado in Arkansas. Please keep this family in prayer as you remember all those hurt by these storms.
If you know of a homeschool family affected by recent tornados, please have them contact HSF. If you would like to help families like the Tittles, please donate to the Emergency Response Fund.
HSF’s Arkansas State Ambassador, Melissa Savary, is working to channel assistance to families hit by tornados in her state. If you would like to provide tangible, practical support to these families please contact Melissa at ArkStateAmb@gmail.com.
Thank you for your prayers as these families rebuild their lives.
