W H O D O E S I T H E L P ?
The Generation Joshua Fund helps develop curriculum that explores the cultures that influenced America’s founding, current political problems, and how different worldviews have impacted history, helping students understand true liberty.
This fund also gives camp scholarships to help send homeschool students from around the country to Generation Joshua's iGovern summer leadership camp who could not otherwise afford to go.
HSF, as a tax exempt 501(c)3 organization under federal law, may only support the educational aspects of HSLDA's Generation Joshua program. No HSF resources are utilized in any other aspect of HSLDA's Generation Joshua program.
T H E S T O R Y
Historically, hard-won liberties have been quickly compromised unless diligently guarded. To help the next generation of homeschoolers understand what is at stake and how to make a difference, HSLDA and HSF are participating in a joint project—Generation Joshua.
Generation Joshua focuses homeschooled youth on basic American civics taught from an old perspective: the U.S. constitution as interpreted in the light of the original intent of the founders. We know that America's future is in the hands of the Lord. But we also know that we have a stewardship over the opportunities and resources we have been given. So we believe it is important to help the next generation see their place in America and catch the vision of what America can be.
The iGovern leadership camp achieves this goal by giving students a hands-on approach to government.
