To meet the needs of struggling homeschool families through HSF gifts and the resources of the local community.

The Ambassador Program is a network of dedicated volunteers all over the country making a difference at the local homeschool level, assisting families so they can continue to homeschool through hard times. Ambassadors identify, organize, and implement local service projects, such as repairing a widow’s roof, helping a single mom with yard maintenance, or putting together backpacks of school supplies for homeschool children who would otherwise have to do without.
They also organize fundraisers to benefit homeschool families in their own state who need financial assistance or, in some cases, to help replenish another HSF fund.
(Note: Ambassador Program assistance is available via personal nomination by an authorized State or Community Ambassador.)

Ambassador volunteers represent HSF in their communities by providing information about the Foundation to those in need, explaining the mission of the Foundation to potential donors, and providing local homeschool families with opportunities to serve each other in tangible ways.
The Ambassador Program is comprised of a network of state and local volunteers:
State Ambassadors
State Ambassadors are the voice of HSF. They share about opportunities to serve and give to the various HSF funds, represent us at conferences and fundraising events, and inform charitable organizations and individuals about our mission and resources. State Ambassadors assume the important task of building a network of Community Ambassadors throughout their state. State Ambassador applicants begin the application process by acquiring a recommendation from a present or past state homeschool organization leader or homeschool support group leader.
Community Ambassadors
Service Ambassadors
Service Ambassadors are the hands and feet of HSF. They are individuals and families called into action by State or Community Ambassadors to meet local, case-by-case, tangible needs with the help of the benevolent homeschool community and the resources of HSF. They bring blessing, healing, and a personal touch to recipient homeschool families in distress, such as widows and single parents struggling to make ends meet, families with special needs children, or families recovering from natural disasters.
Here is an organizational chart for a visual of how the HSF Ambassador network works. You may express interest in becoming a State or Community Ambassador below. Service Ambassadors are recruited by Community Ambassadors for specific projects.
