Those of us committed to home schooling a special needs child without the involvement of government programs often find ourselves between a rock and a hard place. Medical and special therapy costs can quickly exhaust the efforts of even the most generous extended families and church families, leaving little or nothing for educational evaluations and professional recommendations.
