Funds

Compassion Fund

All undesignated gifts to the Home School Foundation go into its Compassion Fund. Monies in this fund are used to cover the Foundation’s printing costs, give grants to local homeschool support groups around the country, and support other homeschool related causes.

Through the Emergency Response arm of this fund, the Home School Foundation is poised to respond to emergency needs of homeschooling families who suffer from natural disasters, house fires, and similar emergencies.

Group Grants
Additionally, this fund makes grants available to HSLDA discount groups with 10 or more HSLDA member families. These grants are awarded to assist with projects that benefit the home school community.
